Every month FIRST Robotics Society will be hosting workshops with focus on coding using different motor options and sensors. These are free sessions and open to the public.

Basics WeDo 2.0 Workshop – ages 6 to 10

Using Milo the Science Rover students will be given a set of challenges to learn the in’s an out’s of coding Milo with his motor, motion sensor and tilt sensor.

Intermediate WeDo 2.0 Workshop – ages 6-10

While exploring 3 different real world problems, students will be challenged to create solutions using the engineering design process, mechanical design elements , multi-line coding strings and an introduction to conditional coding expressions such as IF-THEN-ELSE.

Basics EV3 Mindstorms Coding Workshop (ages 9-14)

Driving basics for EV3! Learn how to program an EV3 robot to move, turn, stop at and move an object, using basic block coding and parameter settings.
