Thanks to those that attended our first training session on Tuesday featuring our Alumni Coordinator Michelle on Strategy! If you missed it, you can find the slides and recording on our website.
We have 2 more sessions coming up, starting tomorrow!
- October 15th @ 7PM: CAD presented by Hyper Droid
- November 19th @ 7PM: Statistics presented by Nighthawks Robotics

Additionally, League Coordinator Dave has brought an excellent team training topic to my attention from our partners in Colorado and Denmark on Wiring and ESD. This will be a particularly relevant topic with the additional robot interaction this year. You can find the slides from Colorado here and the Youtube workshop from Denmark here.
Scrimmages are Coming Soon!
There are a couple of scrimmages coming up starting this weekend! If you would like to participate in one, please reach out to the hosts! Contact information can be found in the calendar item for each scrimmage on our website.
For the scrimmage in Raymond on November 1st, we really want to encourage teams to make the trip down to support our friends as they try to gain more support from their community.
Season Registration
Just a reminder for everyone that registration for this season (both FIRST HQ and FIRST Alberta) is due on November 1st. To register with FIRST Alberta, please visit firstalberta.ca/ftc/registration. Please be aware that the Team Hardship grant has closed for the season. At this time, there are still grants available through FTC Sim and Maker's making Change.
